I'm just speechless. After Friko's mumbling about her poor garden, I thought she might have - a poor garden! Oh, my goodness.
I'm reminded of a marvelous book called "The Impressionist Garden", which examines the development of such gardens as Monet's at Giverny. The garden as palette - that surely is part of what lies behind this beautiful place, whether intentionally or not.
Thank you so much for all the views in this post. I have read so many of Friko's posts about her garden, that it was a real treat to see your photos and video!
Oh my goodness, aren't they a sweet and welcoming couple. So glad you both had the opportunity to meet one another. What a spectacular setting, such lush, beautiful gardens.
